From Southern Death Cult to Death Cult to The Cult, they are one rock’s real greats. They are one of the most influential and controversial rock bands of the late twentieth century and know how to get down to the business of rocking out - their cult-following at their feet. They’re the ‘wild hearted sons’, the ‘dirty little rockstars’, the ‘sound of destruction’ of everything you knew about rock, and they are about to ‘rise’ yet again!
The Cult is hitting the road this fall, and Boston, you’re on their radar! So get ready to pull up in full force, because The Cult is coming to the Orpheum Theatre Boston on 11 October 2025 with their North American Tour, alongside special guests Patriarchy!
Tickets are priced from as low as $60, and are set to sell out fast, so hit that ‘Get Tickets’ button now to get yours in hand!
The three phases of The Cult: Southern Death Cult with their raw punk attitude and the thing they were sharpening their teeth to. Enter Death Cult - the bridge between the progenitor featuring singer Ian Astbury and guitarist Billy Duggy, with their driving psychedelic-laced punk-meets-gothic rock sounds, chemistry, and roof-raising. And then came The Cult, one of the most influential rock bands of this era - the perfect amalgamation of all three.
Can’t decide whether you want to put pedal to the metal because you prefer the one over the other? Rest assured, cult-following, because on the North American Tour The Cult is about to release upon the nation, they are slated to play one set as Death Cult, and the other as The Cult. The North American Tour, featuring special guest Patriarchy, is set to kick off in early October 2025 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, raining rock-fire upon some major venues before wrapping up at the end of October 2025 in Los Angeles, California.
The Cult is pulling up in full force this fall. Expect it all: the intensity, the exhilaration, the glorious fat chords, the off-the-charts energy, everything.
For those who have been part of their cult-following since the days of Southern Death Cult and watched their transition from their first version until they dropped their debut face-melter She Sells Sanctuary in the mid-1980s, will agree that these guys are masters at continuously evolving while staying true to themselves. Everybody can also agree on it that nobody quite conjures up a storm of rock quite like The Cult; nobody gets down to the business of rocking out quite like them, and nobody quite attacks songs with vigour and force quite like them. Most bands would kill for the kind of songs these guys have - from Spiritwalker and Love Removal Machine to Rain and Lil’ Devil, from Wild Flower to Fire Woman.
The Orpheum Theatre is Boston’s go-to for anything entertainment - even guys like The Cult who cranks it up to 11. With the venue’s top-tier sound and lighting, fantastic sight-lines, comfortable seating, great amenities, and seating for up to 2,700 The Cult-fans spread across an orchestra floor, mezzanine, and balcony, there simply isn’t a bad seat in the house and you’re down for the night of your life!
Get your tickets now and pull in for a rock experience that will blow your mind!
