Whenever anyone talks about dance, there is always one name that is on everybody's lips: Derek Hough. With incredible talents, he has opened dance to the world, and his achievements are truly remarkable.

Hough was sent to London by his parents to learn dance from legends like Corky and Shirley Ballas. The "Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts" was where he spent the better part of a decade honing his singing, gymnastics, acting, and dance skills. He would pick up the drums, bass, guitar, and piano.

He made his appearance on the show Dancing with the Stars in 2007, which helped him become the global icon he is today. He performed in the competition for nine years and soon became a fan favorite. Not only were his performances truly mesmerizing to witness, but he was the only professional competitor to win the competition an astonishing six times, thus taking home six highly coveted Mirrorball Trophies. From 2017 to 2020, he would also serve as a judge on NBC's World of Dance.

During 2013, Derek worked with Meryl Davis and Charlie White on their choreography for their gold medal-winning performance at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. He has also worked as a director or appeared with the likes of Cheryl Cole, Lindsey Stirling, Lil Kim, and Michael Buble on or in their music videos.

In film, he made cameo appearances in 2001's “Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone” and “Rock of Ages,” as well as directing and staring in his own movie, "Make Your Move 3D."

The 2014 tour, “Move Live On Tour,” was such a success that they played to packed out arenas. It was a collaborative effort between him and his sister, Julianne, and they visited 40 cities in the US and Canada. His current tour brings him back to the stage to explore everything from hip-hop to salsa, and you can expect to be fully blown away as you witness magic unfold in front of your eyes. Grabbing your tickets now is a must, so don't delay; otherwise, you will miss out.
